Nationally recognized Chef Jason Scholz is enthusiastic about sourcing as many local ingredients as he can find, and supporting regional & local farmers. Stella’s cuisine is inspired by the coastal Carolinas and the American south. Jason, a native of Louisville, KY moved to Charleston in 1994 & found his home here in the upstate over 3 years ago. Stella’s offers friendly service & excellent cuisine served in a relaxed atmosphere- and there is plenty of parking! Stella’s Southern Bistro serves lunch & dinner & has been open for a year and a half. When not at the restaurant, Jason & his wife Julia enjoy exploring the upstate, dining out, and playing with their black lab, Stella.
