A passionate culinarian, Chef Eric Stein brings with him nearly two decades of working in the finest establishments across the food service industry including hotels and resorts, culinary education, and manufacturing. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, he realized early in his career a passion for working with the best of the best in the culinary arts. To accomplish this goal, he has sought out positions in esteemed kitchens at the Golden Door Spa, Restaurant Clio, The Greenbrier and La Costa Hotels.
With expertise in emerging food trends, global cuisines, and menu innovation, Chef Eric uses a multidisciplinary approach that relies on foundational cooking principles paired with attention to detail, all the while spreading the awareness that food can be both delicious and nourishing.
His professional affiliations include The American Culinary Federation and American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics with whom he hold credentials as Certified Culinary Educator (CCE) and Registered Dietitian (RD) respectively. He is also a published author of Culinary Nutrition; Principles and Applications, a textbook widely used in vocational and collegiate programs in culinary arts, nutrition, and sports kinesiology.
In July 2017, Eric moved to Greenville, South Carolina to launch Slush Buddies with dreams of growing a fleet of REAL FRUIT SLUSH vending carts throughout the Southeast Atlantic.
