Greenville County Schools and euphoria invite district students between the ages of 8 and 18 to bring their best culinary skills to the table as entries are open for the fourth annual Healthy Lunchtime Throwdown.
The festival’s signature kids’ recipe and cooking contest allows district students from across the area to submit their original, healthy, affordable and delicious recipes online now through Aug. 31, 2018. The winner, who will be selected at a special cook-off event with world-famous Michelin starred chefs during euphoria’s Sunday Brunch, will win a prize package from LiveWell Greenville and euphoria, and have his or her recipe added to the Greenville County Schools menu during the 2018-2019 school year.
Entrants of the Healthy Lunchtime Throwdown are required to submit original recipes that are healthy, delicious and economic on or before Aug. 31, 2018. Based on these criteria, finalists will be selected by a panel of judges on Sept. 9, 2018. These finalists will participate in a live cooking challenge on euphoria’s main culinary stage on Sept. 23, 2018.
